Horned Hair Sheep
The horned hair sheep were the first livestock animal at our farm. We chose these sheep for two main reasons. The first was because they are hair sheep, they shed. No need to find someone to sheer! Second, the majestic horns on the rams. Our flock has mountain rocky big horn in its genetics, really bringing out the horn growth. This also means they are a bit more shy when it comes to interacting with us, but most of that shyness goes away when the food bucket comes out. Below are some pictures of some of our current flock.
